Los Huesos

Los Huesos is a fictitious account of the world’s first stop-motion animated film. Dated 1901 and excavated in 2021 as Chile drafts a new Constitution, the footage documents a ritual performed by a girl who appears to use human corpses. Emerging in the ritual are Diego Portales and Jaime Guzmán, central figures in the construction of authoritarian and oligarchic Chile.

Los Huesos es un relato ficticio de la primera película de animación en stop-motion del mundo. Fechado en 1901 y excavado en 2021, mientras Chile redacta una nueva Constitución, el metraje documenta un ritual realizado por una niña que parece utilizar cadáveres humanos. En el ritual aparecen Diego Portales y Jaime Guzmán, figuras centrales en la construcción del Chile autoritario y oligárquico.
