ESP:“La Casa Lobo” es un largometraje de animación stop-motion que fue estrenado en la 68 BERLINALE. Narra la historia de Maria, una joven que se refugia en una casa en el sur de Chile tras escapar de una colonia de alemanes. El proceso de producción de la película&#38;nbsp;ocurrió en una serie de exhibiciones en las que trasladamos nuestro taller a diversos espacios de exhibición. De esta forma el público pudo ver el desarrollo de la producción, como una obra en permanente cambio, a medida que avanzan las grabaciones.

ENG:“La Casa Lobo” (The Wolf House) is a stop-motion feature film that premiered at the 68th BERLINALE (Berlin International Film Festival) . It tells the story of Maria, a young woman who takes refuge in a house in southern Chile after escaping from a German colony. The production process of the film&#38;nbsp;took place in a series of exhibitions in which we moved our studio to various exhibition spaces. This way the public could see the development of the production, as a work in constant change.

Los Huesos is a fictitious account of the world’s first stop-motion animated film. Dated 1901 and excavated in 2021 as Chile drafts a new Constitution, the footage documents a ritual performed by a girl who appears to use human corpses. Emerging in the ritual are Diego Portales and Jaime Guzmán, central figures in the construction of authoritarian and oligarchic Chile.

El cortometraje de animación Cuaderno de Nombres, basado en una investigación periodística y de archivo de la Universidad Diego Portales, rinde homenaje a los 51 menores de 18 años víctimas de desaparición forzada durante la dictadura civil-militar, especialmente en los días y meses posteriores al Golpe de Estado del 11 de septiembre de 1973. Con este esfuerzo de reparación, amplía y renueva la noción de memorial de derechos humanos, usando un registro visual y sonoro que mezcla la ternura, el horror y la esperanza. Entre 11 y 17 años tenían esos niños y adolescentes (todos varones, salvo por un caso) cuyos cuerpos, a no ser por unas pocas excepciones, aún siguen sin aparecer. Este cortometraje de León &#38;amp; Cociña los trae de vuelta al plano de la memoria colectiva, recordando sus gustos, su cotidianeidad y la búsqueda de sus familiares, que esperan su regreso aferrándose a rituales domésticos, a objetos profanos y sagrados a la vez, a trucos destinados a orientar a quienes se extravían en los bosques cuando se aproxima la noche. Cuadernos de Nombres es un canto fúnebre pronunciado con un nudo en la garganta.

Luis se expuso en el Museo Guggenheim de Nueva York (octubre de 2010) como uno de los vídeos ganadores de la Bienal de Vídeo Creativo YouTube Play Guggenheim.

Luis is the 2nd short video of the series LUCIA, LUIS Y EL LOBO (LUCIA, LUIS AND THE WOLF), it is a follow-up to the short video LUCIA. The video was shot frame by frame with a digital photo camera. Materials: charcoal, dirt, flowers, found objects and cardboard.
Luis was exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum in New York (Oct. 2010) as one of the winning videos of the YouTube Play Guggenheim, Biennial of Creative Video.
